Christina Marsico-Blog 3



In this picture you will see that I made a trip to Publix that is in my neighborhood.  Most grocery stores today use a simple grid layouts because of the size of the store and quantity of gondola fixtures required to hold thousands of merchandise.  Publix uses a grid layout which is a linear design with fixtures are arranged in parallel aisles.

I also took a picture of a display at Publix that was at the front of the store.   It looks like they are trying to promote Pepsi and using cross-merchandise with the children’s beach chairs.   I can see that they were trying to go with a beach theme with the chairs and incorporating soft drinks for the beach.  This display needs to have some height it’s very flat.
